Classes 

Non-Swimmers

These sessions are for children of any age with limited water confidence, experience, or ability. The focus of these sessions will be to introduce children to the pool, learn safety practices, develop confidence and begin to move through the water through games and skills.

Beginners

These sessions are for children, typically aged 6 to 10, who have limited ability and confidence. The aim of the sessions will be to introduce the strokes, learn safety practices, further develop confidence skills, and submerge under the water.

Beginners B

These sessions are for children, typically aged 7-12, who have some limited ability and confidence. The aim of these sessions will be to continue introducing the strokes and refining their form, learn safety practices, and further develop confidence skills.

Improvers

These sessions are for children, typically aged 8 and over, who are confident in the water, and can swim at least 25 metres. The aim of these sessions will be to promote safety, reinforce confidence skills, and improve front crawl, back crawl, and breaststroke.

Summer Holiday Intensives

Book your child in for an intensive course of swimming lessons to really reinforce their swim form and confidence.

Please note that intensives will be offered to NFSA swimmers first before going live to the public. Dates will be confirmed May 2024.

Nervous swimmers. At NFSA we understand that some children have fears and barriers with water (as do many adults). If you feel that your child will respond better to lessons with you being in the water with them then please do let us know and if we have space for you to join in the session with your child, we will invite you to do so at no extra cost. You can even have a post swim biscuit!

Prices

Group lessons – £14.50 per session                                                  

Private 1:1 – £36 per session

Private 1:2 – £55 per session (£27.50 per child) NB, if children are from the same household, a further 10% discount will be applied/or a sibling discount of 10%.

Private 1:3 – £74.25 per session (£24.75 per child) NB, if children are from the same household, a further 10% discount will be applied/or a sibling discount of 10-15%.

Small group private sessions work best when swimmers are of a similar ability striving for the same goals.
