Terms of Service

Conditions:

Should we experience inclement weather that is deemed dangerous then the session will be postponed and an alternative session will be offered (please note that this may be on a different day or time, but where possible it will be close to your requested time.) If your child is unable to make the offered date then no refund or credit will be carried over. However, if we have multiple days that are cancelled then a pro rata price per session will be offered. Sessions can be cancelled by NFSA up to 30 minutes before start time.

No refunds will be offered to children unable to attend sessions that are running.

Considerations:

We will be constantly assessing your child and their ability along with their ‘coachability’. If you feel your child should be in a different group then please consider their swim ability may not match their ability to learn and be taught.

It is the parents responsibility to ensure that your child is dressed appropriately in swim wear with long hair in swim caps (great practise for those with short hair to wear them too) and goggles correctly fitted. We recommend that you teach your child how to wear and remove their goggles as due to covid restrictions we will be reducing contact with children where possible.

Toilet trips: We do have a toilet available for your child to use before their session, please ensure that your child has been. If they need to go during their session, they will not be supervised to do so but please note the toilet is right next to the pool.

Spectating: This year we are trialling parents spectating poolside. Previously we have found that having parents poolside can be distracting for the children. Equally though we think it’s precious times to see your children progress, and shouldn’t be missed. If you do not wish to spectate, please ensure that you let us know your car make, colour and registration number and of course ensure we have your mobile contact number. To protect the children, please note that if you are poolside then mobile phones cannot be used.

Upon arrival, children will be allocated a group and teacher. This is based on many aspects, including ability and confidence. If you are unhappy with the group your child is in, please bear with our decision for 2-3 sessions and then if you are still unhappy please email us. We are happy to communicate our thoughts with your child’s group allocation and equally appreciate your feedback. We are all striving for the same outcome, but ultimately your child’s safety and happiness is paramount.

Children are required to arrive with their costumes on, and easy to remove shoes, so they are ready to enter the pool. We suggest costumes under their onesie, dressing gown etc. Due to covid policies we are discouraging the use of the onsite changing hut where possible. Please have easy to put on clothes or a towelling robe for afterwards to bring your child home in. We request that you leave the site immediately after the session.

Communication: If you would like to discuss any issues with a teacher, in the first instance, please email info@nfsa.co.uk

We may take photo’s for marketing purposes. Please state if you would rather these were not used.
